Founded in 2017, Centegix is a leading safety solutions provider for schools, universities, and healthcare facilities. Their mission is to create innovative safety solutions to empower and protect people in emergencies, from the everyday to the extreme. Their Safety Platform solution includes critical incident mapping, visitor management, reunification, and mobile panic button technology that work together to accelerate response times. In July 2022, they sought our expertise to enhance their SEO, develop long-form content, refine state landing page messaging, and strategize their ever-expanding product messaging.

Problem

Multifaceted Marketing Challenges

Centegix was confronted with unique marketing challenges, each demanding a unique solution. They needed to bolster their search engine visibility, craft compelling long-form content such as ebooks, and fine-tune their messaging for diverse state landing pages and products. Also, they needed a unified strategy to seamlessly incorporate their recent acquisition of Ident-a-Kid visitor management software into their brand.

Centegix was also grappling with addressing diverse audiences in the education and healthcare sectors, each with unique concerns such as school safety, teacher shortages, and violence in healthcare settings. Recognizing the need for a nuanced approach, Centegix sought a partner who could deliver targeted, impactful content and SEO strategies to bolster its market presence and support its growth objectives.

Solution

We devised a comprehensive keyword strategy targeting the education and healthcare sectors. This strategy involved extensive research and analysis to identify the most relevant and high-impact keywords for Centegix's target audience. The strategy included six critical keywords: school safety plan, school alert system, teacher shortage, violence in healthcare, critical incident mapping, and visitor management. Our consistent SEO efforts, guided by this strategy, significantly improved their search engine rankings and organic traffic.

In addition, we facilitated the migration of Ident-a-Kid's content, including five blogs and five landing pages, to the Centegix website. This involved meticulous content review, optimization, and design re-branding to ensure the content's relevance and effectiveness on the new platform. This integration helped unify their brand and enhance their visitor management messaging. We also developed individualized state landing pages to align with safety legislation like Alyssa’s Law, aiding schools in accessing state and federal funding for safety technology.

Significant Growth in Traffic and Authority

Our efforts led to a significant surge in organic traffic from 2,081 in July 2022 to an impressive 9,640 by May 2024. Centegix now boasts seven keywords in the top 10 on Google and 22 ranking above 51. Their domain authority witnessed a substantial increase of 15 points, from 23 to 38, a testament to the effectiveness of our strategic content migration from the Ident-a-Kid brand and consistent SEO practices. We also produced over 122 content items, including numerous eBooks and landing pages, highlighting the effectiveness of their expanding safety platform.
