CASE STUDY
Palo Alto Networks – Symphony 2025
Overview
Palo Alto Networks is a global cybersecurity leader that empowers enterprises to secure their digital future. With a robust portfolio and commitment to continuous innovation, Palo Alto Networks helps organizations mitigate cyber risk, defeat sophisticated threats, and scale security across their operations.. For their flagship Symphony 2025 online streaming conference, they sought to elevate engagement and encourage new audiences to participate in the conversation around digital trust.
Problem
Limited awareness outside core audiences
Palo Alto Networks Symphony 2025 was designed to unite cybersecurity and IT professionals from across industries, but it needed to expand beyond traditional security audiences to deliver a meaningful impact. Existing marketing efforts lacked the personal, authentic touch needed to cut through the noise and connect with potential attendees across adjacent, non-technical fields.
To address this challenge, Palo Alto Networks needed a fresh approach that went beyond traditional tactics. They required a way to spark conversations and forge genuine interest in the event’s agenda of secure digital transformation.
Solution
We built an influencer marketing campaign that engaged respected voices across cybersecurity, cloud, SaaS, and digital leadership spheres. Each influencer was chosen for their authentic alignment with Palo Alto Networks’ mission and their ability to translate the event’s themes into compelling, relatable stories. The campaign spanned pre-event posts, short-form videos, and real-time livestreams, all designed to generate excitement and drive registrations.
By leveraging influencers’ credibility and creativity, we transformed Symphony 2025 into more than just an event—it became a movement that brought new audiences into the security conversation and underscored Palo Alto Networks’ commitment to innovation and digital trust.
Content Workshop’s strategists combed through the 60-page technical report, identifying narratives in the data. The goal was to turn this comprehensive resource into something creative, exciting, and compelling their busy clients could learn from. The team of strategists dissected the accounts and data from the comprehensive report and turned them into blogs, podcasts, presentations, webinars, and infographics that Unit 42 can share with prospective clients.
Results
Influencers expanded the event’s reach
The campaign generated significant traction across social channels, driving 834 registrations. These leads demonstrated strong engagement, with a 21.4% conversion rate from influencer referrals and a 30% conversion rate from newsletter signups. Influencers attracted fresh audiences from digital transformation, executive leadership, and cloud communities—broadening Symphony 2025’s impact, setting them up for a successful Symphony 2026, and positioning Palo Alto Networks as a trusted leader in secure digital innovation.
